Also this weekend, started digging the trench for the chicken coop foundation! This is one of the 5’ short sides. The longer sides will be more challenging, because they’re 12’ long (more difficult to level) and the backyard is sloped, so I’ll need to level off the ground in and around where the coop will be. Anyway, exciting, because once the foundation is in, I can start building the coop in earnest, rather than just pre-cutting the wood and holding it together with tape and clamps…
